Glen Allen, Virginia – Kevin Boudreaux, Director of Boiler Water Technology at ChemTreat, Inc. (ChemTreat), has been named a Roadmap Participant for the National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI) Energy-Water Desalination Hub. He will be working to assist in developing roadmaps for better uses of nontraditional waters.
The NAWI was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to lead the Water Desalination Hub, created to fulfill the vision of a circular U.S. water economy powered by nontraditional water desalination. Its key goals are to secure water supplies, develop technologies to enable pipe parity, and enhance U.S. economic, environmental, and energy security.
The NAWI includes more than 35 members and over 180 organizations. It is led by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the National Technology Laboratory. Major partners include the Electric Power Research Institute, the Water Research Foundation, and the State of California Department of Water Resources.
Kevin Boudreaux works for ChemTreat’s Tech Staff group, supporting sales engineers and customers globally. He has published papers in journals such as PPCHEM and Power Magazine on topics ranging from chemistry applications to performance monitoring, and is very active in industry-related conferences and seminars.
